Trump uses Nazi Symbol against LGBTQ+ in Military Ad

Trump posted an article to his Truth Social account featuring a Nazi Symbol, a Pink Triangle with red prohibited symbol. This symbol was used to identify and persecute LGBTQ+ individuals in concentration camps. Historically LGBTQ+ individuals reclaimed the pink triangle as a symbol of resistance, pride, and remembrance. The article titled “Army recruitment ads look quite different under Trump,” published by the Washington Times praised Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for “refocusing on military lethality and reversing Biden-era policies that embraced diversity, including ads featuring LGBTQ+ soldiers.” Hegseth has long spoken out about his opposition to LGBTQ+ inclusion in the military criticizing the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. Trump has shown opposition to LGBTQ+ members in the military and has even removed Trans service members.
They’re not even trying to hide the fact they’re Nazis. How are people getting away with that in 2025? How have we not come far enough to realize that’s definitely a bad idea? Please share this as we need to get this information out as fast as possible. He cannot get away with this. We must shout and be loud and continue to speak out for everyone because nobody should ever be in a “camp” of any sorts and nobody should lose their life just because of who they are.
And don’t for one minute things that he doesn’t know that
That is hate speech, punishable by law in some countries… and the great state of California. That’s what we have come to expect from trump and his disciples.
